How the totals work
Line amounts are rounded to two decimal places. The discount applies to the subtotal, then the entered tax rate applies to the discounted amount. Amounts already received are deducted to calculate the balance; overpayments appear as a credit.
Enter the tax rate appropriate to your transaction. This tool does not determine tax obligations or required invoice fields. All supported currencies use two decimal places.
