Convert your measurement
1 °C converted to °F
Conversion rule
°F = °C × 9/5 + 32; K = °C + 273.15
Worked example
20°C = 68°F = 293.15 K.
Choosing the correct units
Select the source unit and destination unit before reading the result. Length, area, and volume describe different dimensions and cannot be converted directly into each other.
Common mistakes
US and Imperial gallons differ. Pounds here mean mass, not force. Temperature conversions include an offset, so multiplying by a single conversion factor does not work.
Precision
Conversions use standard factors; displayed results round to six decimal places. Keep the original measurement’s precision when reporting a result. Converting a rough measurement does not make it more accurate.
